Pros and cons of Dark Frontier app for iPhone and iPad

Dark Frontier app good for

One of my fav games... Would definatly buy a sequel for this game
What can I say? This game is FUN. So far I havent payed a cent for the microtansactions and have progressed through 20 levels or so, with a certain (but pleasurable) level of difficulty. The graphics are great, the character based variation on tower defence is refreshing and Im always looking forward to some time to play a level or two. At the moment the only "bug" Im frustrated by is that although you can pause the game and initiate a bunch of character moves which will be executed after you unpause, you cant seem to initiate attacks. That is to say, if you pause, select a character and then target a specific mob, nothing happens and the command is ignored. Other than that, the only other UX issue seems to be replaying a level that you didnt get 3 stars on: its a tedious process of exiting to the map and re-selecting the waypoint you were at to get the UI for selecting the level you wish to replay. This should really be accessible from the level setup screen, as in a simple "select level" button to go back to the level selection screen where you see all the available levels within that waypoint and the number of stars youve achieved for each level. Id definitely say this game is worth the download, and I dont really ever write reviews about games, so that might suggest something about the caliber of this game.
Great game. Good variety of troops and landscapes. Highly recommend it
I finished the game except I cant get to the 6 th world because I cant get by the Dwarf Veteran boss on level 10 in the 5th world.Ive tried all kinds of hero and trap combos but nothing works. Anyone have any idea on how to beat it?
Its a good game, with excellent graphics, and high replaybility! Hired heroes fight with attacking monsters and earn XP. Some levels are easier then others, but generally game is tough challenge if you want earn 3 stars for each level.

Some bad moments

Neat little concept, hidden gem amongst the App Store, especially for a strategy game. Worth the .99$
1) this game need 3 lol of diff beg, normal and expert. 2) please display all the hero instead of showing one at a time (May be expert only).
I really like this game. It is amaingly well done. And I suggest you buy it. However, it does get repetitive (after ~30 levels). I would like it if you could upgrade your people and keep the upgrades between levels. For example, pay X gems and your guys can now go from XP lvl 2-4 instead of XP lvls 1-3. You quickly find that Unqiue heroes arent worth the cost. They would be better if you can level them up like normal units.
The best of the best tower defense game. Very special worth every penny
While Dark Frontier looks fantastic the gameplay leaves some to be desired . There needs to be a bank and accumulation of funds and gems that carries over from level to level instead of being a fixed allotment per level . And while it is hyped up that there are "new unique characters every day" It hardly matters if you cant actually choose which newly generated character youd like to purchase over the others . And more often than not the random char. is weaker than something already owned ,but you are forced to spend the precious jems on the useless char. anyway ! Who ever thought that was a good idea wasnt thinking clearly that day. There should perhaps be a cash or jem bonus for unused power ups . A random button might be cool for the characters so you could maybe hit the button until someone appropriate appeared. I look forward to the next update despite these criticisms though , as I think this game has a lot of potential .
This is a good tower defense game but I couldnt seem to sync save files between iOS devices. Also lacks depth.
